shoot the player

man, its Halloween already. I love this holiday, by far my favorite.
I also hate it becaues it means that October is ending. And this October didn't fall short of amazing. I'll recap it all later when I'm done stuffing my face with green banana muffins.

any who, just wanted to post this video because I have fallen in love with the project.

Some of the video's aren't that great I'll admit, but the idea and the content is great.
It makes me happy to be a DIY filmmaker. My boss asked to see my camera reel today (I currently edit here) and afterwards he said "what the hell are you doing here!"

Felt nice.
I miss shooting and sometimes I can't help it feel like my skills and ideas are going to waste. And I look around at the older people in the company with tons of talent but nothing to show for it and it kills me. I don't want to end up there. And I feel like I'm getting older cause I've been responsible and haven't done anything for fun in the last six months. And the work I'm doing now is good but nothing creative and I would never show it to anyone.

Any ways, go get inspired by something, anything. the city usually does it for me. peace.

For the love of sunny

Today, it really felt like winter.
I love the strange feeling.
Like you can feel the electricity in your atoms repelling against each other.
As if they were trying to make a greater connection between the dreams and the realities.

"Randall: Having a positive outlook in a punk band or anything you do, being a mom, running a liquor store, going to classes has a huge influence in how well you will do in life. If you feel like what you are doing is important and has value you will generally find evidence to support your theory. DIY is not letting other people place value on what you do or believe. There is a place in this world for everyone and everyone has a right to exist in everyone else’s world. I was surprised to find that little old ladies in the Midwest had respect for a van full of smelly, funny-looking punk kids from California if we had respect for them. Their points of view were obviously different than ours about certain issues, but I learned that if we talked to each other as people and not as assumed stereotyped roles we had a lot to talk about and relate to each other."

OCTOBER

What a great day.

outlined and did the entire rough pre-production for a spec cocorosie video.

I found this great super 8 filmmaker that totally makes my mind run.
